 Welcome
We are off to another great
start of the Alpharetta Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi!
Our theme this year is 'Fun, Friendship & Philanthropy'. Our
year runs from September through May and we
hope that you'll be able to join us for all the great
events we have planned! Last years events included monthly meetings, hosting a Holiday Social for
the area actives, supporting our local philanthropy with the
kids at the Drake House and our annual Wine and Blues wine
tasting fundraiser. We are very excited to again be named
an Alumnae Club of Excellence! Thank you to
all of you who have supported and been involved with the
Alpharetta Club! We can't wait to see you and hopefully
lots of new faces this year!

What's Coming Up
Happy New Year! Hope you
can join us for the next
meeting. From the Pi Phi website: In 2009, Pi Phi again will
partner with First Book® for the "Make Your Mark for
Literacy" campaign. The goal is to donate another 50,000 books.
Alumnae organizations, collegiate chapters, and their
communities can help us achieve this goal by decorating
bookplates and sending them back to Headquarters. For every
bookplate Headquarters receives, one child will receive a
brand-new book from First Book. So, come to our next meeting
and help us decorate bookplates!
In addition, please bring
change for our charity of the month. Don't forget to
also bring your auction items and/or your 8x10 black or silver
frames for the wine tasting. Thanks!
Please join us at 6:30 p.m. for social time before the meeting
starts at 7:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!
