  • Pi Phi Welcomes 41 New Members at MIT
    Pi Beta Phi recently welcomed 41 new members at their newest chapter, Massachusettes Gamma, located at MIT. “This is an amazing group of women at MIT. Each woman will bring to the group and Pi Phi a diverse and fresh perspective and we look forward for things to come,” said Luellen Smith, grand vice president membership for the Fraternity. New Members will participate in a six week New Member program. Initiation and Installation of the new chapter will occur in mid-November.

  • Disaster Relief Through Pi Beta Phi
    The Pi Beta Phi Foundation’s Emma Harper Turner (EHT) provides one-time grants or monthly stipends to alumnae in dire financial need, alumnae continuing their education due to extreme circumstances and for the education expenses of collegians who have experienced a life change that jeopardizes their ability to stay in school. The EHT Fund also assists members residing in presidentially declared disaster areas with disaster relief funding. The EHT Program is strictly confidential. If you know of Pi Phis residing in presidentially declared disaster areas affected by the recent hurricanes, storms, floods or wildfires, please inform them of the Foundation’s EHT Fund. For more information, visit the Foundation’s Web site, www.pibetaphifoundation.org.

  • Pi Beta Phi Renews Partnership with First Book
    Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women announces a $1 million, four-year commitment to First Book, an organization providing new books to children in need across the United States and Canada. Through the partnership, the Fraternity will sponsor the distribution of more than 1 million new books, 250,000 of which will be given during the 2008-2009 academic year.

  • First Book Celebrates its Sweet 16
    First Book celebrated their 16th birthday by distributing 60 million new books. First Book was founded in 1992 in order to leverage the work of local heroes who reach children through existing literacy programs. Please join us in congratulating First Book on their 16th anniversary by visiting their Web site to learn more about what you can do to help, clicking to give a book to a child on The Literacy Site or by simply volunteering in your community.

  • Pi Beta Phi Will Establish New Chapters on Three Campuses
    New York University, Mississippi State University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have welcomed Pi Beta Phi to be the next women's Greek organization on their campuses. Pi Phi is excited to announce its three new chapters – Mississippi Gamma, New York Eta and Massachusetts Gamma. Please join us in welcoming these new chapters!

Congratulations to our own Margi Urquhart!!  The American Business Woman Association North Fulton Express Network just named her one of its top 10 "Phenomenal Women of North Fulton"!  The winners were "applauded for their success as leaders and for giving back to the community in the years they have lived in North Fulton."  Way to go Margi!
